BACKGROUND BIOGRAPHY

Faith, Family, Friends

Rob's the people person of the band. He started playing guitar at 8 and played until his early teenage years, He picked up bass out of necessity. At that point an early rendition of a praise & worship team needed a bass player. Rob heard the calling and this has carried him to where he is today.

It was in a church next door to where he lived in Flushing, New York that he first played bass for a Christmas Cantata. It was amazing, people singing and praising about the birth of our Savior was too overwhelming for him to put aside. As his Christian teachings began to take deep roots, so did his faith in The Lord Jesus Christ.

With an uncle who was a recording engineer with RCA Victor Records, Rob, as a young man was blessed to record in the same studios as the Jefferson Airplane & the King of Rock 'n Roll himself; Elvis Presley.

Today, Rob loves being part of the music ministry in his church. Music is still his deepest focus in his service to God. Playing with several praise & worship teams, the orchestra and lending a helping hand in the A/V media area for concerts and services at the church. Rob strongly believes in getting the good message out too as many and in any way possible.

A big sports fan, Rob loves hockey, baseball and football; this was partly how he met his wife Marianne. Rob says, "To find a Christian woman who was in tune will all I loved was truly a blessing from God!" Together after all these years, Marianne has been the rock and solid voice of reason in his life. Blessed with two sons, their oldest son Jeffrey attends Farmingdale University and plays hockey for the school, hoping to make it into the NHL someday. His youngest son Joseph is still in high school and is very active in music, singing with a teenage youth group, he also plays several musical instruments. A talented graphic artist, Joseph hopes to someday establish a career in web design.

The man who loves toys, Rob is known as the "techie" of the group as he is always investigating new technologies and how to improve the sound and recordings of the band. It’s safe to say, this guy never sleep!
